My roots are in the sanctuary. I grew up in the world of Sunday morning cues, live broadcast deadlines, and the unique challenge of making professional grade production accessible for volunteers. I understand that in a church environment, “the show must go on”, but it must also be sustainable. I’ve spent over 3 decades ensuring that video, media, and lighting systems talk to each other so you can focus on the message.

Beyond the production booth, I’ve spent years in the trenches of large-scale corporate server hosting and cloud architecture. When you’re managing systems that demand 99.999% uptime for global audiences, you learn the value of stable architecture, geo-redundancy, and being able to handle billions of requests in a short time. This is the backbone I bring to every piece of software we build: it doesn’t just look good; it’s built to stay up when the lights go down.

My time in the healthcare software space taught me the importance of data integrity and “zero-fail” workflows. In an industry where a bug can have real-world consequences, I honed the discipline of writing clean, secure code: a level of precision I now apply to every custom integration and automation tool we provide.

I’ve always been drawn to the “what’s next.” During the early VR boom of 2015, I was hands-on with hardware and software creation, exploring the boundaries of immersive technology. This “pioneer” mindset is why Unwritten Media doesn’t just stick to the status quo; we’re constantly looking for innovative ways to use automation and spatial interfaces to make live event control smarter.
